Cleveland Construction Awarded New Publix Super Market in Lexington, Kentucky
Cleveland Construction, Inc. is proud to announce that we have been awarded the contract to manage the construction of a new Publix Supermarket located on Romany Road in the Chevy Chase neighborhood of Lexington, Kentucky.Â
The new three-story building will feature a 41,515 square-foot grocery store atop two levels of below-grade parking totaling 76,821 square feet.
The building will incorporate a precast concrete and steel structural system with precast wall and floor assemblies. The exterior will feature brick and masonry finishes to reflect the architectural character of the surrounding neighborhood.
Site work includes demolition of the existing structure, site preparation, utility work, and the design and installation of an Earth Retention System (ERS) to support the excavation for the below-grade garage.
Construction is scheduled to begin this summer.
