Cleveland Construction Completes Aldi Store Conversion in Avon Park, Florida
Cleveland Construction, Inc. successfully completed a 22,000-square-foot Aldi grocery store in Avon Park, Florida. This project was part of Aldi’s larger initiative to convert former Winn-Dixie locations to align with its brand standards and operational needs.
Our team retrofitted a 52,000-square-foot existing retail building, delivering a complete interior and exterior transformation. Construction began in November 2024 and included selective demolition, structural modifications, and installation of new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The remaining 30,000 square feet of the building is now available for future lease opportunities.
The scope of work included steel framing, drywall partitions, acoustical ceilings, custom grocery display carpentry, new rooftop HVAC units, and a TPO roof system. Exterior enhancements featured new storefronts, metal soffits, and wall panel systems.
The store was delivered on schedule in April 2025.
